Hollywood/Stars

It all began many years ago, with my father having a photo-agency. I started to be passionate with photography, nothing else mattered. Eventually my Dad took me under my wing and I started to cover official Press events : Fashion show, premieres, movie sets, festivals and even some private photo sessions with many actors and singers, musicians.

Yep, this is me doing a selfie in front of the Hollywood sign. After being transferred from London, I came to work in Hollywood for 5 intense years of shooting celebrities.

It was not the first time, as I came earlier with my dad, but this time it was for another 5 years; and I came to work on my own… a lot.

Hollywood Celebrity Photos

today

I no longer take pictures of celebrities because I want to create and not duplicate photos for magazines, so to illustrate why and my career I have made a short video

I am a celebrity photographer and NOT a paparazzi!

Although, if you think of the proper definition I am …

The word “PAPA-RAZZI” comes from the time when in Rome, during the 60s press photographers were attending and cruising around with their ‘vespa’ (scooter bikes) every celebrity event, famous restaurant and movie set with their flashes, in the hope of catching some story to bring to the newspapers who paid cash at the time. My father was one of them, he covered the Pasolini and Fellini movie sets, got some photos of Claudia Cardinale when young and so on … until he moved to London, Paris and after USA.

So the word means “papa = sound of flash bulbs” and “razz = slang for rats” .

Nothing changed, especially in some countries like England, India and USA where it is allowed to photograph them, with some boundaries of course.

Not proud of it, but also not ashamed as a lot of young upcoming actors, actresses, singers, musicians, artists NEED our attention and spreading news on magazines and newspapers.

Here is a sample of photos, where you can see that it can become ridiculously crowded with photographers. yet, I could tell a lot of stories of ‘behind the scenes’ where I can assure you, we are guardian angels for them.
